Roswell's Liberty Square Park will reopen Saturday, Nov. 21, after a grant-funded renovation, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and Community Day at the 21.4-acre park on Mission Hills Court.
The city announced the celebration on Roswell Connections, its community engagement platform. The ribbon-cutting begins at 11 a.m. at 1280 Mission Hills Court. Guests are encouraged to arrive by 10:45 a.m.
The redevelopment was funded through a $2.2 million grant from Georgia's Improving Neighborhood Outcomes in Disproportionately Impacted Communities (INODIC) program. INODIC is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and administered by the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget.
According to the city's announcement, the project introduced new recreational amenities, enhanced accessibility and improved gathering spaces. A public open house in June 2025 gathered resident feedback that helped shape the improvements.
The Mayor and Council, city leadership, the Roswell Recreation Commission and project partners are expected to attend.

After the ribbon-cutting, a Community Day opens with activities for the whole family:
- Guided park tours showcasing the improvements
