Blessed Trinity's flag football team opens its title defense Saturday, Sept. 19, when the Titans host Lambert and Columbus in a season-opening doubleheader.

The Roswell program won its second Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Division 4 state championship on Dec. 16, 2025, beating Milton 21-20 in double overtime at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Titans avenged a regular-season loss to Milton in that title game, according to GPB Sports.

The City of Roswell honored the team at a special council meeting on Dec. 18, 2025.

Now head coach Brandon Harwell wants his squad tested before the playoffs arrive again. He told GPB's Jack Batten he loaded the 2026 schedule with powerhouse opponents, including fellow reigning state champion Harris County and five non-region foes that combined for a 105-14 record last season.

"You get rewarded for riding the biggest bulls," Harwell said, comparing his approach to pro bull riding. "We're going to be rewarded for playing the best teams."

Harwell said the roster begins with Chelsea Lewis, a two-time All-State player who is hitting .800 in softball this year. During the championship broadcast on GPB's Football Fridays in Georgia, Lewis was credited with 73 catches on the season heading into the title game.

Several other contributors return. Addy Wilson made what Harwell called "humongous catches" during last year's playoff run. Multi-year starters Caitlyn Ymbras and Catherine Darr are back, along with Alex Bilson and Charlotte Davis. Libby Vola, a backup center last season who has committed to play lacrosse in college, rounds out the group after what Harwell described as a strong summer.

Since the program's first season in 2021, Blessed Trinity has gone 89-17 with two state titles in six years of competition. The school's athletic department has won 60 combined state championships across all sports since opening in 2000.

Saturday's doubleheader against Lambert and Columbus begins the Titans' sixth season. A full schedule is available through GPB Sports' season preview.
