Roswell design board reviews Hardscrabble Road detention project

A regional detention project at World Harvest Church on Hardscrabble Road goes before Roswell's Design Review Board (DRB) on Thursday, Nov. 5.

The application, listed as case ZDRB-0826-000044, involves a "Regional Detention Pod" at 320 Hardscrabble Road, according to the board's posted agenda. It is the only item on the agenda. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.

The agenda does not describe the project's scope or its expected effect on surrounding properties.

DRB Chair Ian Atkinson will preside over the five-member board. The agenda notes a possible quorum of the Mayor and City Council.

The board's next meeting is scheduled for Dec. 1.
