Roswell residents now have two competing local business directories after a second platform launched within weeks of the first.

The Roswell Business Directory, available at roswellga.online, listed roughly 950 businesses across more than 50 categories as of mid-2026, according to a Sept. 5 article on Roswell Pulse. The live site's homepage displayed a different count of "500+ Businesses" when checked Sept. 7, with its underlying data markup listing "1,000+."

The directory is built and operated by Pulse Media Group, a Roswell-based web development and digital advertising agency. Roswell Pulse, the primary source describing the platform, is a sibling publication under the same company.

Nick Adams, lead developer at Pulse Media Group, built the platform. The company describes it as a hyper-local alternative to national search engines, saying each listing is reviewed by hand to confirm the business is real and based in Roswell.

"The index is small enough to verify by hand," the Roswell Pulse article stated. "At roughly 950 listings as of mid-2026, a human being can look at every single business in the index."

The site includes a resident review system restricted to verified Roswell residents. Pulse Media Group says it also bundles free data tools covering downtown parking availability, traffic on seven Roswell corridors, Chattahoochee River conditions from nine monitoring stations, and trail conditions for five local trail systems including Big Creek Greenway and Vickery Creek. The river and traffic tools pull from public data sources such as the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), though the site notes it is not affiliated with any government agency and describes its readings as estimates.

Business registration is free. Paid tiers with additional features are available, though the company advises checking current rates on the site.

The launch comes shortly after Roswell Inc, the city's public-private economic development partner, debuted its own platform. Roswell Atlas launched at the Aug. 20 Alive in Roswell event with a focus on business discovery, exclusive promotions and an interactive passport system that rewards residents for supporting local shops.

Ashley Allen, Roswell Inc's vice president of operations, said in a Sept. 4 announcement that "The Roswell Atlas has been a long time coming … We have bottled up what our mission of Roswell Inc has been in supporting entrepreneurs and created that in a digital platform."

Roswell Atlas does not include live parking, river or traffic tools. The Roswell Business Directory does not offer a passport or promotions system.

The downtown parking paid pilot program that the directory's parking tool tracks is scheduled to end Dec. 31.
