Roswell High School's competition cheer team, the reigning GHSA Coed Competition Cheer Division 2 state champions, hosts the 3rd Annual Roswell Round Up the weekend of Sept. 19-20 at J. Tom Zachary Court.

Athletic Director Ben Sutter called the Round Up one of the biggest cheer competitions in the state in an announcement on the Roswell Athletics website. Tickets cost $13 plus fees and must be purchased online through GoFan. No cash is accepted.

The Hornets won the GHSA Coed Competition Cheer Division 2 state title during the 2025-26 school year. It was the first cheer championship in Roswell High history, according to a Fulton County Schools year-end report. The team opened its 2026 season on Sept. 12.

This weekend, the Hornets play host.

What to know before you go

The competition takes place at J. Tom Zachary Court inside Roswell High School, 11575 King Rd., Roswell, GA 30075.

A clear bag policy is in effect. Camera bags and diaper bags are allowed but subject to search. No outside food or drinks are permitted. Concessions will be open inside the venue.

Re-entry is allowed. Attendees will receive a wristband as proof of purchase.

State championship dates ahead

The Round Up is an early-season showcase for the Hornets as they work toward defending their Division 2 title. The GHSA Cheerleading State Championships are scheduled for Nov. 13-14, according to the Fulton County Schools fall athletics newsletter. The GHSA Gameday Cheer State Championships follow Dec. 10-12.

The number of teams competing in the Round Up and the full rotation schedule were not available as of Sept. 18. A schedule document is linked on the Roswell Athletics event page.
