The City of Roswell will honor local veterans with a free ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at the Roswell Area Park Pond.
Doors open early. Veterans and attendees can arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m., according to the city's event listing on Roswell365. The Honor Walk begins at 9:15 a.m., followed by the ceremony at 9:30 a.m.
The event is free and open to the public, but anyone who wants to take part in the Honor Walk needs to RSVP. The city asks veterans and their family members to register by 5:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, to ensure enough space for all participants.
If rain or other bad weather moves in, the ceremony will shift indoors to the Bill Johnson Community Activity Building at Roswell Area Park.
