Nearly 400 young gymnasts will compete in Roswell when the Roswell Gymnastics Club hosts its Trick or Treat Invitational on Oct. 17 and Oct. 18.

The two-day meet brings USAG Levels 1 through 5 competitors from 15 clubs to the Roswell Recreation and Parks Department Physical Activity Center, Building B, at 10495 Woodstock St. A total of 392 gymnasts are scheduled across eight sessions, according to per-session counts in the meet's rotation schedule.

The first session on Oct. 17 features Levels 1 and 2 with a march-in at 8:15 a.m. Three more sessions follow, with the final Level 3 awards at 7:25 p.m. Oct. 18 opens with another Level 3 session at 8:15 a.m. and closes with a Levels 4 and 5 session, with awards at 8:25 p.m.

Roswell Gymnastics' own team is entered at Levels 4 and 5 in the Oct. 18 sessions. Visiting clubs include BIO Gymnastics, GAA, Amplitude, Peach Pit Prado, Perimeter, Champion Gymnastics, Fusion Gymnastics, Gym South, World of Gymnastics and several others.

The field is big. Meet director Lorenzo Wyatt is overseeing the sanctioned competition, which carries USAG sanction No. 97943. All gymnasts and coaches must hold a current USAG membership.

Individual medals go to more than half the competitors in each group, and team awards go to the top three teams per level, according to the meet information packet.

What spectators need to know: Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for ages 5 through 18 and seniors 65 and older, and free for children 4 and younger. A service fee applies for card payments.

Gymnast entry fees are $135 per individual, with a $60 team fee. The refund request deadline is Monday, Sept. 28.
