Roswell Soccer Club will turn the Grimes Bridge Adult Recreation Facility into a casino Saturday, Sept. 12, to raise money for its youth programs.
The club's annual Casino Night fundraiser runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 830 Grimes Bridge Rd. Attendees can try their hand at blackjack, poker, roulette and craps tables. The club will hand out "Funny Money" that players can spend on raffle prizes throughout the evening.
The night also includes live music, dancing, food and an open bar, according to the club's event page.
Proceeds support the club's youth soccer programs, which serve players as young as 3. Roswell Soccer Club runs Kiddie Kickers for ages 3 and 4, recreational leagues for ages 7 through 19, the Santos Academy competitive program for ages 9 through 12 and Santos Select for ages 13 through 19, according to the club's website.
The club is looking for community volunteers to help run the event. A volunteer sign-up form is available through the club's website.
